In this free webinar, Current’s Senior Plant Scientist Hans Spalholz, Ph.D and NCSU’s Associate Professor Ricardo Hernandez, Ph.D present results from two cannabis studies. One examines the flower yield and cannabinoid accumulation increases due to increased DLI, while the other shows how to drastically improve rooting of cuttings and transplant survival by using adequate lighting and CO2 supplementation strategies. The aim of both studies was to understand how to push the productivity of the cannabis plant further. Growers should expect to get concrete insights from the webinar, to help them improve their cultivation practices. The studies were conducted at North Carolina State University, renowned for its cannabis research program. Associate Professor R. Hernandez and Research Technician C. Collado of NCSU will continue to conduct cannabis trials in partnership with Current, and the new experiment set-ups will be presented at the webinar. Growers can follow up with the webinar speakers after the event or live at MJBizCon in November.
