Matias Reyna initially began his career in investing and finance. After finishing his MBA at the Yale School of Management, he decided to switch career paths and targeted the small business space. He soon found Chenmark, a family-owned holding company dedicated to buying and running small businesses for the indefinite future. Matias has been managing Freedom Tree Farms, one of Chenmark's operating companies, for the past year as CEO. His first year was focused on implementing a new ERP through his partnership with Velosio, standardizing reporting on inventory and production, and maintaining Freedom Tree's culture throughout the ownership transition to help the company continue its success.
